COOPERATION WITH THE NAS RK AND THE GLOBAL KOREAN CENTER WERE DISCUSSED

A working meeting with the Head of the Center for Earth, Space and Communication Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Shevchenko and the Director of the Global Korean Center Hong Jin Song was held at Al-Farabi KazNU.

At the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences A.S. Aktymbayeva presented the scientific potential of the faculty and current research projects aimed at studying and developing sustainable methods of nature management and adaptation to climate change. The honored guests visited the Center for Innovative Products and High-Tech Projects "Farabi Hub" and were acquainted with the activities of the Center for Sustainable Development in Central Asia.

The parties discussed issues of strengthening the partnership between Al-Farabi KazNU and the Global Korean Center in the field of increasing the technological capabilities of Kazakhstan through the creation of technological infrastructure, providing technical training and assistance for technical exchanges in order to stimulate growth in the manufacturing sector.

This meeting implements SDG 4 - quality education; SDG 8 - decent work and economic growth; SDG 17 - Partnership for Sustainable Development.
