7 february, 2025

On February 6, 2025, Acting Associate Professor Anipina A.K., a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Eastern Studies, hosted a traditional Chinese tea ceremony for first-year students specializing in "6B02314 - Foreign Philology" in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

This ceremony highlighted the unique tea-drinking traditions of China, emphasizing the cultural significance of tea in everyday life. Participants learned about the selection of high-quality teas and the use of special tea utensils, including a teapot, water container, candle for brewing, and cups for steeping the leaves. The event aimed to introduce students to a new type of tea while allowing them to savor its rich flavors and appreciate the artistry involved in the ceremony.
