Psychological support at Al-Farabi KazNU and the Scientific and Practical Center "Inclusive Environment" held a seminar-training on "Ways to Increase Student Motivation for Academic Activities" as part of SDG-4: "Quality Education" on February 6. The training was organized for students living in Dormitory No. 13. The training began with an exercise called "Getting to Know Each Other," aimed at establishing positive relationships among participants.

The goal of the psychological training was to acquire professional skills necessary for studying, to teach self-regulation and self-control skills, and to increase confidence in oneself and one’s abilities. Additionally, various exercises aimed at overcoming internal fears and anxieties, as well as developing openness, were conducted, and the meeting was filled with many useful and interesting emotions.

During the training, students learned to work with their emotions, maintain calm in difficult situations, and make the right decisions. Through the exercises, their mutual confidence increased, they established good relationships with each other, and improved their teamwork skills. Participants analyzed their strengths and weaknesses and identified directions for personal development.

This training was not only psychological support but also helped to increase students’ motivation for self-improvement and contributed to enhancing their social and professional skills. At the end of the seminar, all participants expressed their readiness to apply the knowledge gained in their lives and noted that the meeting was both impactful and beneficial.
