Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies Represented Kazakhstan at an International Seminar in India

On February 7, 2025, Fatimabibi Nogaykyzy Daulet, Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, delivered a speech at the International Seminar held under the ITEC (The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme) initiative, organized by the Government of India. The seminar took place at Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (HITS) in Chennai and focused on the role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In her presentation, Fatimabibi Nogaykyzy highlighted Kazakhstan’s achievements in implementing the 17 SDGs, with a particular emphasis on SDG 4 ("Quality Education") and SDG 17 ("Partnerships for Sustainable Development"). She shared insights on how Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and the Department of Chinese Studies contribute to addressing these global challenges.
The seminar brought together participants from over 30 countries, providing an opportunity for valuable experience exchange and knowledge-sharing in the field of vocational education. Fatimabibi Nogaykyzy noted that the presentations by colleagues from different countries were particularly insightful and inspiring for further work in this field.
Her speech at such a prestigious international forum underscores the high level of academic training at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Kazakhstan’s significant contribution to global educational initiatives.
