As is known, one of the key directions announced by the Head of State at the enlarged meeting on January 28, 2024, was the further development of education and science. The importance of this issue is based on the quality of educational processes. As defined by the legislation, the decline in the level of education and intellectual potential of the country is among the threats to national security. This directly affects Kazakhstan's ability to adapt to change, develop effectively and maintain competitiveness in the international arena. In the conditions of rapid technological progress and global challenges, the country's ability to develop intellectual potential becomes the basis for its sustainable development and long-term prosperity.
The issue of quality education requires a comprehensive approach, including not only the updating of educational standards and teaching methods, but also the active development of scientific research, as well as the creation of conditions for the training of qualified personnel capable of solving the tasks facing the state.
Noting the positive results of the implementation of a number of projects in the sphere of education, the President emphasized the need to continue work on the introduction of mechanisms to ensure healthy competition, transparency and efficiency of budget spending.
