An International Scientific Seminar Began at the Center for Arabic Studies and the Department of Arabic Studies

An international scientific seminar titled “Effective Methods of Using Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Arabic” has begun, organized by the Center for Arabic Studies and the Department of TSHOA (Arabic Studies) at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The seminar is held in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Information Technology of the Ministry of Education of Egypt (Cairo). The Director of the Center for Arabic Studies, B.N. Jubatova, highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in the modern digital world, its role in scientific research, and its priorities in education. She also emphasized the relevance of the seminar being held at an international level. The seminar aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence in learning foreign languages in the era of globalization, its theoretical and practical significance, share international experience, and determine the optimal ways to integrate these technologies into university curricula. The speakers of the seminar include Professor Abul Futuh Yunus Sabri, Director-General of the Department of Information and Cultural Dissemination of the Academy of Scientific Research (Cairo, Egypt), and Dr. Amani Mahmoudi, Professor at the Faculty of Sharia and Law of Al-Azhar University (Cairo, Egypt). The seminar is attended by faculty and students of the Department of TSHOA (Arabic Studies) at the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU, as well as students of Nur-Mubarak University. The seminar will run from February 10 to February 17, 2025. At the end of the seminar, participants will receive certificates.
