Head of the Department of Mechanics, Turalina Dinara, was awarded the “Al-Farabi” Gold Medal

For her significant contribution to the development and prosperity of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as for her outstanding achievements in the field of science and higher education, the Head of the Department of Mechanics, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Dinara Eleusizovna Turalina, was awarded the “Al-Farabi” Gold Medal by the university’s Rector, Tuebayev Zhanseit.

This prestigious award recognizes her substantial contribution to enhancing the university’s scientific potential, as well as advancing education and research in the field of mechanics. Dinara Eleusizovna has dedicated many years to training young scientists and supervising their research activities.

Her scientific works have been highly recognized not only in Kazakhstan but also in the international scientific community, contributing to the development of new research directions in the field of fluid and gas mechanics. The results of her research align with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
    •    SDG 4 – Quality Education
    •    SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
    •    SDG 13 – Climate Action

Her work is dedicated to building a sustainable future through the advancement of science and education.
