On February 11, a solemn meeting dedicated to the International Day of Women in Science was held at Al-Farabi KazNU.

During the event, outstanding women scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of science and education in Kazakhstan were honored. One of the awardees was Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensics, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Asel Bostanovna Sharipova.

For her contributions to science, she was awarded the state medal “Eren enbegi ushin” (“For Distinguished Labor”), which is given for exceptional achievements in professional activities, significant contributions to the country’s development, and dedicated service to society.

This event once again highlighted the important role of women in the scientific and educational fields of Kazakhstan.
