Scientific seminar for «Young scientists» of the faculty

On February 13, 2025, the Department of Science and the Council of Young Scientists of al-Farabi KazNU and the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a scientific seminar on the topic «Preparation of an application for the scientific project «Zhas Galim».

The event was opened by the Deputy dean of the Faculty for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Relations, PhD Alipova Saya.

Specially invited speakers made presentations at the scientific seminar: Nyshanbayev Nurbolat - Head of the Department of International Relations at Turan University, graduate of the «Bolashak» program and Bakhytzhan Eldana - Senior lecturer at the Department of Analytical, Colloidal Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements at al-Farabi KazNU, Chairman of the «Council of Young Scientists» at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. The speakers provided useful and analytical information about possible problems, ranging from applying for a grant funding competition for research by young scientists to peer review. 

This seminar was held in an online format on the «Microsoft Teams» platform. The seminar was attended young scientists and PhD students of the faculty.

The scientific seminar was received with great interest by the young scientists, they were able to share their opinions and receive comprehensive answers from the speakers to all questions that may arise during the conduct of research projects. The speakers also shared their experiences, life hacks, and the problems they face on their professional scientific path. At the end of the seminar spoke Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Historical Sciences Yem Natalya, who expressed her gratitude to the speakers. The seminar was interesting and productive.
