On February 11, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event honored female scientists for their significant achievements in research and academia.
Professor Kuralay Irtysovna Baizakova from the Department of International Relations and World Economy was awarded the "Farabi Gold Medal" in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the development and prosperity of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as her remarkable achievements in science and higher education.
