On February 14, 2025, third-year students of the Department of Turkic Studies and History of Eastern Countries at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a closing event summarizing their three-week internship at the National Library of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by senior lecturer of the department, Zhenisbek Akimbekuly Abildaev, the head of the World Literature Service of the National Library and internship supervisor, Salima Toktasynkyzy Tuyakova, as well as other library staff members.
The students showcased presentations, video recordings, and other creative works reflecting their internship experience. Book trailers for The Count of Monte Cristo, Kemel Adam, and Ushkan Uya were screened. Third-year student Akerke Asan delivered the concluding speech, expressing gratitude to the National Library for the invaluable opportunity and practical experience.
