Students of the Department of Chinese Studies Attended the Play “Sultan Baybars”

On February 13, Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, N.B. Saparbayeva, together with graduate students, attended the historical play Sultan Baybars at the Alatau Theater. The performance impressed the audience with its innovative approach to interpreting historical events, outstanding acting, and high-quality stage production.

The students particularly noted the use of modern theatrical techniques, which not only brought history to life but also allowed them to deeply experience the era of the great ruler. They emphasized that the performance broadened their artistic perception and sparked a keen interest in cultural heritage.
