17 february, 2025

Within the framework of SDG 16, one of the topics covered at the Farabi Winter Scientific School "Human Rights in the Modern world" was the topic "Implementation of migration policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law L.T. Kultemirova considered the concept of migration policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its features, problems in the field of population migration and the prospects for their solution.

Revealing the topic, the lecturer emphasized its relevance and practical significance in modern conditions. This is due to the fact that the Republic of Kazakhstan has long been actively involved in the international migration process, which has become an integral part of economic, political, cultural and other relations in the world community.

Special attention is paid to the issues of legal regulation of relations in the field of population migration, as well as some aspects of the legal status of foreigners in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
