Mukagali Makatayev Poetry Readings Held at the Faculty of International Relations

On February 9, the Faculty of International Relations hosted a literary evening dedicated to the works of Mukagali Makatayev. The event welcomed special guests from Almaty—Bolat, Abdrakhman, and Aidyn—who hold deep respect for the poet’s legacy.
The guests engaged in an open discussion with students, reciting Mukagali Makatayev's poetry and sharing fascinating stories about his life and creative journey. A particularly remarkable moment was when Bolat presented books personally received from the poet himself, recounting his cherished memories associated with them.
Our students also actively participated in the event, reading Makatayev's poems and presenting their own poetic tributes dedicated to the poet. This gathering became an inspiring experience, deepening students' appreciation for Kazakh literature and poetry.
