Open Seminar: "The financial structure of the state and the legal basis of financial regulation"

On February 19, 2025, the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva held an open lesson with second-year students of the Kazakh department in the discipline "Financial Law" on the topic "The financial structure of the state and the legal basis of financial regulation" (seminar).
The open lesson, organized under the guidance of Professor G.A. Kuanalieva, was held at a high scientific level and contributed to an in-depth understanding by students of the legal foundations of the formation of financial structures and their interaction with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main purpose of the lesson was to explain the mechanisms of formation of the financial structure of the state and legal regulation in the context of the SDGs. During the lesson, the legal aspects of the sustainable and effective development of the financial system were considered, with a special focus on Goal 16 and Goal 17.
The students studied the legal foundations of Kazakhstan's financial system, discussed their compliance with international legal norms and their role in ensuring the stability and effectiveness of the financial system. The methods and materials used in the course of the lesson contributed to the development of students' critical thinking, as well as the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
During the discussion, the students expressed their opinion on the need to integrate the SDGs into the financial system and suggested ways to reform them aimed at improving the effectiveness of financial regulation. The open lesson was attended by Deputy Head of the Department for Educational, methodological and educational work E.S. Kuandykova, Deputy for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations G.K. Rasheva, Professor G.T. Aigarinova and senior lecturer K.A. Bakhmanova.
To summarize, it can be noted that the open lesson conducted by Professor G.A. Kuanalieva significantly contributed to an in-depth study of the theoretical and legal aspects of financial law, as well as to the scientific understanding by students of the process of development and reform of the financial system in the context of the SDGs.
