"Affordable and clean energy sources"

19 february, 2025

The Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law organized a scientific seminar on "Affordable and clean energy sources" as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Energy plays an important role in the development of any state. However, traditional energy sources (oil, gas, coal) are harmful to the environment and are limited resources. In this regard, Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources for all. Kazakhstan, with its rich natural resources, has the opportunity to develop renewable energy and is actively striving to switch to clean energy sources.

The seminar discussed the current state of the energy sector in Kazakhstan and the state policy in the field of renewable energy.
