Let's eliminate the poverty together!

On February 7, 2025, at 9:00,  the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Philology held an advisory hour for the  3rd year students of  6B02303-Foreign philology (Western languages) major. The event was dedicated to SDG 1 “No Poverty”. The educational hour was held by   the PhD student of Foreign Philology major  B. Tunggysh and senior lecturer  I. Azimbayeva.   The aim  of the advisory hour was to comprehensively consider the causes of poverty and inform the  students about ways to eliminate it, as well as to  discuss activities aimed at solving these problems. During the meeting, the students studied the problem of poverty in detail and considered its state at the global level. The event was aimed at increasing the social responsibility of the  students and encouraging them not to be indifferent to global problems. As a result of the event, they  understood the role of each person in solving global problems and decided for themselves to act actively in the future.
