Egamberdiyeva Dilfuza presented an open lecture

At the Department of Biotechnology, February 12, 2025, a prominent scientist, microbiologist Egamberdiyeva Dilfuza presented an open lecture to students, Master and PhD students on the topic «Scientific ethics and integrity of scientific research» Students actively asked questions and discussed the lecture.
Egamberdiyeva Dilfuza is the head of Uzbek-Chinese laboratory at the National University of Uzbekistan, works at the Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research, Germany and the Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.
She has been awarded the prestigious UNESCO Carlos Finlay Prize in Microbiology for her outstanding research, prizes from Springer Nature, The World Academy of Science and other international organizations. She is Vice Chair and National Representative of UNESCO Science and Technology Policy Asian Network, Country Ambassador of the American Society for Microbiology, and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Women in Science for Developing Countries Central Asia National Chapter.
Her work includes various areas including sustainable agriculture, climate change mitigation and environmental protection covering many SDGs such as SDG 2, SDG 13 and SDG 15.
