Familiarization Tour of Students from the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensics of Al-Farabi KazNU at «Samruk-Green Energy» LLP

On February 19, 2025, students from the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in a familiarization tour at «Samruk-Green Energy» LLP, visiting a 2 MW solar power plant located in the city of Konaev.
This event was organized as part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at supporting environmentally friendly technologies and increasing future lawyers’ awareness of the legal aspects of sustainable development. The tour allowed students not only to familiarize themselves with the technological processes of energy production from renewable sources but also to study the specifics of legal regulation in this field.
During the visit, specialists from «Samruk-Green Energy» provided a detailed explanation of the operation of the solar power plant and modern methods of electricity generation. Students had a unique opportunity to ask questions about the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan, government support mechanisms, and current legislative initiatives.
