Excursion to the Museum of History of Al-Farabi KazNU

On February 20, 2025, master's students of Baku State University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, studying within the framework of the dual-degree educational master's program "7M04212 - Maritime and Energy Law", visited the KazNU History Museum. The excursion was organized to get acquainted with the rich history of the university, its traditions, achievements and contribution to the development of science and education in Kazakhstan.

The event was organized with the support of the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Kuanalieva G.A., the coordinator of the two-diploma educational program of the Master's degree "7M04212 - Maritime and Energy Law" Professor Aygarinova G.T., as well as the adviser Rasheva G.K. The excursion was attended by graduate students of Baku State University: Amirli A., Ibrahimzade L., Mammadova S., Mirzayeva S., Tayarli S., Khuseynova A., Khuseynov A., as well as graduate students of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi: Karkyn M., Abilova D., Nagmanov N., Bektursyn Zh.

During the excursion, participants learned about the history of the foundation of KazNU, its role in the educational system of Kazakhstan, as well as about outstanding graduates who made a significant contribution to the development of science, politics, economics and law. Museum staff spoke about the key milestones in the development of the university, its academic traditions and international achievements.

The graduate students also got acquainted with the exhibits of the museum, among which were historical documents, photographs, awards and relics associated with the name of al-Farabi and the development of the university. Particular attention was paid to modern educational programs and international cooperation of KazNU, which aroused interest among the participants of the two-degree program.

The excursion allowed the graduate students to gain a deeper understanding of the history and values ​​of the Kazakh National University, as well as its role in the formation of highly qualified specialists. The participants expressed gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to touch the history of one of the leading educational institutions of Kazakhstan.
