February 6, 2025 The project "BEST STUDENT" was held in classroom 324 of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, organized by the "Sunkar" professional bureau of students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. This project was held in the form of a competition among students. The judges of the competition were the Dean of Students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Tursyntai Nurkhan Nurbolatovich, the coordinator of the "BEST STUDENT-2025" project of the "Sunkar" trade union of students and undergraduates Kuanyshkali Nurtilek Nurbekovich, and the chairman of the "Sunkar" professional bureau of students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Seit Nurbakhyt Nuralyuly. Our competition among students was organized in 3 stages. The knowledge of our participants was tested. Now let's talk about the stages
1st stage Tanysbol-In this stage, the participants showed their presentations. Some came with creative video montages, some came with presentations about themselves. In the projects they prepared, they provided detailed information about themselves and talked about their interests.
2nd stage Brain Raing-In this stage, the ingenuity and intelligence of our participants were tested. The tasks on the sheet given to our participants included identifications of various genres. Thanks to their ingenuity, they successfully completed this stage.
3rd stage Cells and questions-In this stage, our students were given cells on various topics. In particular, there were cells containing questions on the history of the Kazakh National University, Mathematics, Physics, Kazakh language and the history of Kazakhstan. The questions in the cells opened according to their choices were interesting and appropriate to their level.
This project not only tested the students' knowledge, but also allowed us to find out how much they can participate in public competitions. They also introduced the work they are doing according to their interests. We can also say that they exchanged knowledge through our questions. The end ended with a summary. Of course, where there is a competition, there are wins and losses. According to the judges' decision,
1st place Bauyrzhan Bibinur
2nd place Kaken Erasyl
3rd place Kuandyk Nurbala
The "BEST STUDENT" project not only deepens students' knowledge but also contributes to the development of important skills such as creativity, teamwork, and analytical thinking. Stages such as preparing presentations and completing creative tasks directly support SDG 4: Quality Education, as they aim to expand students' knowledge and improve their educational outcomes. Furthermore, participating in such competitions helps students develop competencies that will be valuable in their future professional lives, thus supporting SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. The experience gained enables students to advance in their careers and increases their chances of success in the economy.
