On February 21, 2025, the faculty members of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in a practical workshop dedicated to improving LinkedIn profiles. The event was held in partnership with the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Kazakhstan and was organized at American Space Almaty.

The workshop, led by experienced PR consultant Shygyla Sagynbekova, provided participants with insights on how to create an attractive and professional LinkedIn profile that would attract the attention of potential employers, investors, and partners. Shygyla shared tips on effectively presenting skills and achievements, as well as explaining how to use the platform for career growth, investment search, and expanding professional networks.

The event was a great opportunity for the faculty members of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty to develop their personal and professional brands, as well as promote their research and articles, broadening their audience on the international stage. Participants were actively engaged in discussions on how to effectively use LinkedIn to popularize their scientific work, explore opportunities for publishing and promoting research papers, and improve the visibility of their scientific achievements in international academic circles.

The workshop was part of a program aimed at supporting professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to expand their opportunities on the international LinkedIn network and take their profiles to the next level.
