"Unity and Harmony is the Foundation of Our Country’s Sustainable Development"

Today, on February 22, a special event on the topic: "Unity and Harmony is  the Foundation of Our Country’s Sustainable Development" was held at the Republican House of Friendship in Almaty. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in collaboration with the Kyrgyz ethnocultural association "Muras".

The  head of the Republican House of Friendship in Almaty, Nursaulе Abdykadyrovna Altekova, Co-Chairman of the "Vainakh" Association for the Development of Chechen-Ingush Culture, Akhmed Seydrakhmanovich Muradov, deputy chairman of the "Muras" Kyrgyz ethnocultural association, Manas Nurmamatovich Tashybekov, President of "Kyrgyz Tili"  Republican Society of the Kyrgyz Republic, Rayimzhan Rakhmanovich Kurbanov, as well as  the leaders and members of republican and city ethnocultural associations, the teaching staff  of the Department of Foreign Languages at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and  the first-year university students took part in the event.

The event aimed at  strengthening  unity and harmony among young people, promoting  patriotic education, and enhancing  their civic engagement.

After the official welcoming speeches, the event continued with a festive concert prepared by the  students of  Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, representing various ethnic groups. The students performed dances, songs, and musical performances  showcasing the rich and  unique cultures of the Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Turkish, Turkmen, German, and Kazakh peoples.
