The event was organized by first-year master's students Aigerim Akshalova, Dayana Turarbekova, Fatima Khamzaeva, and Akmaral Yerlan (English Department) as part of their pedagogical practice under the supervision of PhD L.F. Delovarova, academic advisors PhD L.T.Isova and PhD A.T.Kulbayeva, as well as the Head of the Department of International Relations, PhD G.S.Baykushikova.
The program featured both theoretical and interactive formats. The session commenced with SDG-Themed Origami, where participating teams created origami representations symbolizing one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and explained their significance. This activity provided a deeper understanding of the importance of the SDGs and their interconnection with global challenges.
Following this, students presented their research and delivered presentations on the implementation of the SDGs in various countries. These discussions highlighted best practices and key trends in their adoption worldwide.
The masterclass concluded with a feedback session, during which participants exchanged insights, discussed pressing issues, and explored prospects for further engagement with sustainable development topics. It was noted that the event took place in a dynamic and productive atmosphere, fostering not only the acquisition of new knowledge but also the development of practical teamwork skills.
