At the Center for Arab Studies, a scientific and methodological seminar on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies is ongoing

The Director of the Center for Arabic Studies, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor B.N. Zhubatova, conducted a seminar titled "How to Use Artificial Intelligence in Education?" for faculty members and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, in accordance with the academic policy of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on integrating AI technologies into the educational process.

The seminar speaker, B.N. Zhubatova, highlighted not only the advantages of using AI in scientific research and education but also its limitations. She emphasized the vast potential of AI in learning foreign languages, explaining that it allows users to conduct conversations in any language, build dialogues, prepare for international language proficiency tests, and create structured study plans using effective and accessible online platforms. However, despite AI’s ability to make quick decisions and provide assistance, she noted that it cannot replace human emotional perception and feelings.

The seminar was attended by faculty members and students from the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, as well as students from Nur-Mubarak University.
