Scientific Seminar on Kazakhstan-China Cooperation in the Automotive Industry Held at the Department of Chinese Studies

On February 25, 2025, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a scientific seminar on "Development of Kazakhstan-China Cooperation in the Automotive Industry." The event was organized by the Department of Chinese Studies as part of the research work of Liu XiYao, a second-year doctoral student in Oriental Studies.

The seminar brought together professors, doctoral students, master's students, and all those interested in Kazakhstan-China cooperation. Participants discussed the strategic importance of the automotive industry, the prospects for bilateral collaboration in this field, and the role of cultural factors in promoting economic partnership.

Doctoral student Liu XiYao presented the results of her research, highlighting key trends in Kazakhstan-China cooperation in the automotive industry. In her report, she analyzed the development stages of joint projects, identified major challenges, and proposed possible solutions. She also emphasized the significance of cultural exchanges in strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

As a result of the seminar, participants recognized the need for further research in this area. It was decided to organize a series of roundtable discussions dedicated to specific aspects of Kazakhstan-China cooperation in the automotive sector.
