FRUITFUL MEETING WITH PAKISTANI ENTREPRENEURS

On February 26, 2025, a meeting was held at Al-Farabi KazNU, faculty of Oriental Studies, with the President of the KAZ-PAK Association, Habib-ur-Rehman, the Director of the National Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Rafiq, as well as several Pakistani entrepreneurs. The main purpose of this official meeting was to present certificates to Urdu language instructors, Shynar Kanafyeva and Nazerke Zharbossynova, who successfully completed an online professional development course in Lahore, Pakistan. During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of educational initiatives aimed at enhancing the professional skills of Urdu language instructors and fostering academic exchanges between Kazakhstan and Pakistan. Additionally, the Pakistani guests awarded a special financial incentive to first-year students of the Urdu department, expressing their support for the students’ commitment to mastering Pakistan’s national language and training as qualified specialists in Pakistan studies. Representatives of the Pakistani side reaffirmed their willingness to support educational and research projects that strengthen cultural and academic ties between the two countries. Special attention was given to the activities of the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Center, which plays a key role in fostering academic cooperation and promoting cultural dialogue. All participants expressed confidence that the center would continue to contribute to strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of education and research. Concluding the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for further cooperation, including the development of joint educational programs and the implementation of research initiatives aimed at deepening collaboration between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
