Educational excursion of the central part of Almaty

On February 19, 2025, an extracurricular lesson on the subject "Excursion Guide" was held for 2nd-year students of the Kazakh branch of the educational program "6B11101-Tourism" of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism. The event was organized by the senior lecturer of the department Sholpan Abdreyeva and the curator of the group Serik Mominov within the framework of the SDG 4.

The educational excursion for students on the subject "Excursion Guide" was held as part of practical classes aimed at mastering the basics of excursion activities and studying the features of organizing tours. Students visited significant sights of the central part of Almaty, historical and cultural sites, which allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge about conducting excursions in practice, as well as get acquainted with various methods of presenting information for different target audiences. During the excursion, students studied the structure of excursion routes, the importance of choosing the right accents in the story and mastered the basics of interactive interaction with visitors.
