As part of the international round table on "Current Issues of Criminal Policy," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Criminological Association, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminalistics, Zhakys Akereke Zheniskyzy, delivered a presentation on the topic: "International Experience in Measures to Prevent Domestic Violence Against Women and Children."

In her speech, she examined effective practices of various countries in the field of domestic violence prevention, analyzed legislative mechanisms for victim protection, and provided recommendations on the possible implementation of international experience in the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Special attention was given to issues of interagency cooperation, the role of non-governmental organizations, and innovative approaches to working with vulnerable groups.

The presentation sparked active discussions among the participants of the round table, highlighting the importance of the topic and the need for further improvement of criminal policy in the field of protecting the rights of women and children.
