📖 Discussion Event on the Book The Dawns Here Are Quiet and Historical Literature as Part of the "80 Days – 80 Events" Campaign Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory 📖

The Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensic Science at Al-Farabi KazNU continues the "80 Days – 80 Events" campaign dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory.
📚 On February 21, 2025, students and faculty members of the department held a discussion event at the university library, focusing on the famous novel The Dawns Here Are Quiet by Boris Vasilyev. Participants discussed the role of women in war, heroism, and self-sacrifice, as well as the book's significance in fostering patriotism among young people. The discussion was deep and heartfelt, as the novel highlights fundamental human values—courage, honor, and duty.
Additionally, students and faculty explored historical literature on the Great Patriotic War, reviewing documentary evidence, eyewitness accounts, and works of historians. These materials provided a deeper understanding of the heroic deeds of the Soviet people and emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory.
🔹 This event became an essential part of our campaign, aimed at honoring the heroism of our ancestors and studying history through literature. We continue our series of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory!
