
On February 20, 2025, at 10:00, at the Faculty of Philology the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies held an advisory educational session for the third-year students of 6B02304 – Foreign Philology major. The event was dedicated to SDG 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy”. The session was organized by PhD student of Foreign Philology Sh.Kasipkhan and group advisor L.B Nagiyatova.
The educational session on Affordable and Clean Energy aimed at enhancing the students' understanding of clean energy, global sustainability challenges, and the role of technology in renewable energy adoption.
The participants discussed the definition and importance of clean energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydro power, analyzed global energy policies and talked about technological advancements. They discussed economic feasibility and accessibility issues. Through interactive discussions and case studies on energy transition and wind energy development, the students actively engaged in critical thinking and proposed innovative solutions. The session effectively deepened their awareness of sustainable energy, fostered a sense of environmental responsibility, and inspired future research interests.
The event purpose was to increase students' social responsibility and encourage them not to remain indifferent to global issues. The event resulted in the students’ recognition of the role of each individual in addressing global challenges and the motivation to take active steps.
