SDG 4 "Quality education" Winter Scientific School on "Human rights in the modern world: new challenges" completed work

On February 22, 2025, the winter school was completed at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The winter school was opened on February 11, 2025.  Annual winter scientific school on "Human rights in the modern world: New challenges" was held for students of foreign universities.  A total of 60 students from different countries participated: China, Uzbekistan, Great Britain, USA. 

The organizer is the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law. The date of the event is from February 11 to February 22, 2025.

The Winter School was held with the aim of providing inclusive and equitable quality education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities.

During the training at the winter scientific school, issues of human rights protection, obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, issues of administrative law and management, personal data protection, migration law, the introduction of digital law into society, the basics of artificial intelligence, and some issues of civil law were considered.

Classes at the winter school were conducted by renowned professors, leading scientists, and university professors.  72 hours of graduation certificates have been prepared for all participants of the winter school.

At the winter school, classes were conducted by teachers of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University – Doctor of Law, Professor Ibrayeva A.S.; Doctor of Law, Professor Baimakhanova D.M.; Doctor of Law, Professor Kalisheva N.H.; Doctor of Law, Professor Kegembayeva Zh.A.; head of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Useinova K.R.; Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Mynbatyrova N.K.; Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Tursynkulova D.A.; Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Kultemirova L.T.; doctoral students Akhmetova S.B., Alikhan K. The classes were also conducted by the lecturer of the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, PhD Doctor Kasymzhanova A.A.
