First defense of a foreign doctoral student in International Law in English.

On February 27, the defense of the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of Wang Heyong on the topic "Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court on issues of criminal liability" under the educational program "8D04201 - International Law" took place at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. This is the first defense of a foreign doctoral student in International Law in English.

The dissertation was completed at the Department of International Law of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
