A scientific seminar was held within the framework of the doctoral dissertation

On February 28, B. Bazarkulova, a 2nd-year doctoral student at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, conducted a scientific seminar as part of her doctoral dissertation on the topic "The impact of Western sanctions on the Iranian economy." The seminar was attended by teachers of the department, undergraduates and students. According to the prepared presentation, an analysis of the causes and stages of the announced sanctions against Iran was carried out. Various effects of unilateral US sanctions and the impact of international sanctions on the Iranian economy were described. At the end of the seminar, the doctoral student was asked questions, given criticisms and suggestions. B. Bazarkulova thanked the participants and noted the benefits of the scientific seminar for her scientific work.
