This year, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Peoples' Friendship and Gratitude Day, a festive event was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the leadership of Chairman of the Board - Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich. Opening the event, the rector of our university, Zhanseit Kanseituly, congratulated all participants on the holiday, noting that strengthening peace and interethnic friendship, cooperation is one of the priorities, and each of us makes a great contribution to the preservation of our interethnic friendship. During the festive evening, the Chairman of the Management Board awarded KazNU teachers and staff with medals and badges, as well as certificates of honor and letters of appreciation. Among our awarded colleagues, Larisa Alekseevna Nesterenkova was awarded the Farabi gold medal, Farida Ravilyevna Gusmanova was awarded the Badge of Gratitude of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Anna Yurievna Pyrkova was awarded the Letter of Appreciation from the rector.
