Round table discussion on "Profession, science, success: a woman's perspective"

On March 4, 2025, the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development hosted a round table on the topic "Profession, Science, Success: a woman's perspective", dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8. This significant event brought together teachers and students, becoming a vivid example of generational dialogue and the exchange of invaluable life experience.

Associate professors of the department Tamara Lashkarovna Tazhibayeva and Nurgul Sagievna Bergeneva addressed the audience. These respected teachers, who have devoted several decades to working at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, told the first-year students about the formation and development of the department, its scientific achievements and outstanding graduates. They paid special attention to the issues of women's contribution to science and professional activity, inspiring young people with their example.
