Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development Doszhanov Yerlan Ospanovich became the winner of the competition "The best university teacher – 2024"!

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual contests "The Best University Teacher – 2024" and "The Best Researcher – 2024" this year was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.  The ceremony was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, heads of research institutes and universities, representatives of scientific intelligentsia, scientists, teachers, as well as doctoral students, undergraduates and students.

The "Best University Teacher" competition is traditionally held with the aim of increasing the prestige of the teaching profession, stimulating them to further professional development and encouraging them for their contribution to education and science. According to the results of the selection conducted by the republican competition commission, 150 teachers of Kazakhstani universities received awards. The winners were awarded with badges and money.

A successful teacher and an outstanding scientist, Doszhanov Yerlan Ospanovich has made a significant contribution to the development of science and education in the field of petrochemistry, ecology and sustainable development. His many years of work, dedication and active participation in research activities contributed to receiving such a high award. Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, presenting the awards to the laureates, noted that the achievements of teachers and scientists form the basis of Kazakhstan's future progress.
