MCM Department Lecturer Asel Orazalievna Beketayeva Awarded the Badge of Honor "For Distinguished Labor"

On February 28, 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Day of Gratitude was held at the Farabi HUB of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

As part of this festive occasion, Asel Orazalievna Beketayeva, Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and Associate Professor, was awarded the Badge of Honor "For Distinguished Labor" in recognition of her outstanding contributions to science and education.

The event brought together state and public figures, representatives of the Almaty Akimat, ethnocultural associations, faculty members of KazNU, and students. The Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the important role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in strengthening interethnic harmony and cultural diversity in the country.

During the ceremony, the Farabi Gold Medal, the Badge of Honor "For Distinguished Labor," honorary certificates, and letters of appreciation from the Akim of Almaty and the Rector of KazNU were awarded.

The Badge of Honor "For Distinguished Labor" is a prestigious state award given for exceptional contributions to science, education, and the development of the country's intellectual potential. The recognition of Asel Orazalievna Beketayeva with this award is a testament to her significant impact on scientific research, the training of future specialists, and the international collaboration of KazNU.
