Professor of the MCM Department, Lelya Azretovna Khadzhieva, Becomes a Laureate of the State Scientific Scholarship

On February 26, 2025, a ceremonial award ceremony was held at the National Academy of Sciences in Almaty, honoring the laureates of the 2024 State Scientific Scholarships and Awards in the field of science.

We are proud to announce that Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Lelya Azretovna Khadzhieva, has been awarded a State Scientific Scholarship for her significant contribution to the development of science.

The event was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbayev, as well as heads of research institutes and universities, scientists, and faculty members.

In his speech, Minister Sayasat Nurbek emphasized the importance of state support for scientists, strengthening their social security, and attracting young professionals to the field of science. As part of the implementation of the Presidential Decree, funding for applied sciences has been increased, measures have been taken to advance science and technological policies, and salaries for employees of scientific institutions have been raised.

During the ceremony, laureates received diplomas, medals, and certificates in recognition of their achievements.

We congratulate Lelya Azretovna Khadzhieva on this well-deserved award and wish her continued success in scientific research and academic endeavors!

The achievements of scientists and their contributions to science and education directly support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – "Quality Education", which aims to improve the level of professional training and the development of scientific research.
