Curatorial hour on «National identity»

On February 24, teachers of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics Kozhakhmetova U.K. and Kyrgyzbay K.T. held a curatorial hour on the topic «National identity».

The curatorial hour on  «National identity» is an organized cultural event based on educating students and through them future generations to evaluate national values, preserve the country's cultural heritage and enhance national identity.

The purpose of the cultural event:

1. Explaining to students the essence of national identity and the formation of national identity;

2. Discussion of the importance of historical and cultural heritage and national values of Kazakhstan;

3. Fostering youth patriotism and increasing love for the country;

4. Encouraging the preservation of national traditions through the development of personal responsibility.

Informational materials:

1) short videos of historical figures of Kazakhstan;

2) wise words of the Kazakh people and parables with educational significance;

3) group assignments and projects on national culture and history.

4) short films and video courses on the history of the country;

5) collection of proverbs and educational proverbs;

6) creative projects on national themes, prepared by students.

Result:

During the curatorial hour, the students deeply realized the essence of national values and shared their thoughts on the importance of preserving national identity. At the end of the event, the participants were given practical recommendations on improving the national spirit and preserving cultural heritage.

This educational hour contributed to the education of young people's love for the country, awareness of national identity and the formation of nationalistic qualities.
