Educational hour on the topic: "Wonder Women, Wonderful Moms"

On March 5, 2025,  senior lecturer Bekturova E.K. and the1-st year PhD student Pavlova Yu.V. held an educational hour on the topic: "Wonder Women, Wonderful Mothers" was held for the 2-nd year students of  "Foreign Philology" (Western Languages)  major of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies.

The main aim  of the event was to develop the  students' respect for the role of women in various spheres of life,  to expand their knowledge of outstanding women in history, science, literature and culture, as well as  to develop team spirit and erudition through participation in an intellectual quiz.

The format of the event included a team game, where the participants were divided into 4 teams and chose questions from five categories: KazNU, cartoons, literature, science, culture. The questions varied in difficulty, and correct answers could earn from 100 to 400 points in each category.

During the quiz,  the students learned about women's achievements in various fields and discussed their influence on world culture and society. The  participants demonstrated a high level of knowledge, logical thinking, and the ability to work in a team. The event not only contributed to the intellectual development of students, but also helped strengthen friendships, create an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support.
