Report on "Wheel of Opportunities: Together Towards Peace"

On March 3, the Academic Regional Resource Center for UN Information Support at the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi KazNU held the event "Wheel of Opportunities: Together Towards Peace."

The event was organized by fourth-year students Aziza Dauletova and Nursulu Baimukhanova. 

During the event, students spun the wheel, answered questions, discussed global challenges, and proposed their own ideas for achieving peace and cooperation. The topics of justice, human rights, international partnerships, and the role of youth in sustainable development sparked great interest. The event brought together both Kazakhstani and international students, making the discussion even more diverse and insightful. 

The initiative focused on SDG 16 "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions" and SDG 17 "Partnerships for the Goals." These goals are crucial in building a just, peaceful, and stable future, and discussing them helps students better understand global challenges and their role in addressing them. 

At the end of the event, participants received SDG-themed stickers and sweet prizes. More importantly, they gained new knowledge, valuable experience, and inspiration for future initiatives. Responsible Lecturer: Leila F. Delovarova.
