Open Lesson for March 8: Gender Equality in Modern Society
On the eve of International Women’s Day on March 8, an open lesson on gender equality was held with 2nd-year students of the Kazakh department, majoring in 6B11103-RDGB, along with their curator Asipova Zh.M. within the framework of SDG-4 and SDG-5. The event aimed to discuss key issues related to gender balance, the rights of men and women in society, and their roles in various fields.
During the lesson, participants explored the historical struggle for equality, analyzed examples of successful women in politics, science, culture, and business, and discussed the major challenges society faces on the path to achieving gender equality.
Special attention was given to gender stereotypes, discrimination, and the importance of equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender. Interactive discussions, group activities, and real-case analysis helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the issue.
The event concluded with a discussion on how each person can contribute to building a fairer society. The lesson took place in a warm and engaging atmosphere, sparking active participation and interest from the audience.
We express our gratitude to all participants for their engagement and contributions to promoting the idea of equality!
