Exploring Kazakhstan's Cultural Heritage: Students' Excursion to the Central State Museum

On February 17, 2025, students of Group 104 from the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, under the guidance of their advisor, Konysbai B.M., visited the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was organized as part of Sustainable Development Goal 4: “Quality Education.”

Purpose of the event: To deepen students’ knowledge of Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage, broaden their historical perspective, and emphasize the importance of museums in the educational process. During the excursion, students explored archaeological findings, artifacts of nomadic life, traditional clothing, musical instruments, and exhibits related to Kazakhstan’s independence period.

At the end of the event, participants highlighted the significance of such activities in fostering a deeper understanding of the country’s history and culture. These practical learning methods allow students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to gain valuable hands-on experience with historical artifacts. This, in turn, contributes to the development of critical thinking and a sense of patriotism.
