"KazNU is a Center of Knowledge and Spirituality"

Within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education," on March 11, 2025, at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, PhD in Philology, S.Ä. Kalkabaeva, held a poetry reflection evening on the topic:  "KazNU is a  Center of Knowledge and Spirituality" based on  "Genre Features of Modern Kazakh Poetry” course.

 The first-year master's degree  students majoring in Kazakh Philology opened the evening with inspiring poems dedicated to the university. The "Poetic Reflections" section was enriched by the poets from the "Poetry Kaganate" club of the Faculty of Journalism, turning the event into a fusion of knowledge, spirituality, poetry, and inspiration.  The poet graduates of the Faculty of Philology also took the stage to recite verses dedicated to their alma mater.

As honorary guests, the members of the "Ulagat Scholars-Grandmothers Group" were invited to the event. They performed  "My KazNU is  A Nest of Wisdom"song  which expressed  their deep respect for the university as a center of knowledge and spirituality.
The audience gathered at this event expressed their love for KazNU through poetry and songs, turning the poetry evening into a symbol of devotion and respect for the university.
