The Faculty of International Relations and World Economy Held an Event on SDG 5 – “Gender Equality”

The faculty members of the Department of International Relations and World Economy organized an event dedicated to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 – “Gender Equality.”
During the meeting, an active and, at times, intense discussion took place among the faculty. Participants explored key challenges in achieving gender equality at national and international levels, the impact of global standards on state policies, and the role of science and education in shaping an inclusive society.
Various viewpoints were expressed: some participants highlighted significant progress in ensuring equal rights and opportunities, while others emphasized the persistent barriers and stereotypes that still exist. Special attention was given to the legal and economic aspects of gender equality, as well as practical mechanisms for its implementation.
Such discussions contribute to a deeper analysis of contemporary challenges and the professional development of faculty members in the context of international standards and trends.
