Opening of the "CHINA-CENTRAL ASIA LAW ASCERTAINMENT AND RESEARCH CENTER – CHINA-KAZAKHSTAN LEGAL RESEARCH CENTER"

On March 11, 2025, at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, the grand opening of the " CHINA-CENTRAL ASIA LAW ASCERTAINMENT AND RESEARCH CENTER – CHINA-KAZAKHSTAN LEGAL RESEARCH CENTER" took place.

The opening of this center fully aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 17 — "Partnerships for the Goals". This initiative aims to strengthen legal cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, expand legal research, and enhance cross-border partnerships. Additionally, the center will serve as a platform for joint legal projects, collaborative analysis of customs and financial law issues, and increased academic exchange.

The Center's activities focus on fostering international legal dialogue, conducting scientific research, discussing legal reforms, and exchanging expertise to address modern legal challenges. This, in turn, will bolster regional cooperation between Central Asia and China, ensuring economic and legal stability across the region.
