Internship at JSC VCA: Students of the Department of Far East Gained Valuable Professional Experience

JSC VCA is a distribution company that represents a range of high-quality South Korean food products. Established in 2005, the company has extensive experience in wholesale and retail sales in Kazakhstan.

For the past twelve years, the Department of Far East has maintained a close partnership with JSC VCA. Every year, JSC VCA offers senior students an opportunity to complete their internship. This year, nine students from the Department of Far East, specializing in Oriental Studies from the Korean Studies Division, are concluding their internship.

According to their feedback, they gained experience working in a dynamic international company, studied the specifics of distribution activities, and explored marketing strategies in the South Korean food market. The students noted that the internship allowed them to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies at the Department of Far East, as well as develop skills in business communication, analytics, and customer relations.

In turn, JSC VCA expressed satisfaction with the collaboration with the department and highly appreciated the students’ level of preparation. Company representatives highlighted their responsibility, aspiration for professional growth, and keen interest in South Korean culture and business.
