Meeting with the poets on the topic: "Girls are playful"

year PhD  students of  “Literary Studies” major of the Faculty of Philology organized   a creative meeting with Zhazira Akhmetova and Mergul Asylkhanova in A. Chekhov Central City Library. The event topic was  «Girls are playful». The event was organized by under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of "Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, d.f.s. Bolatova G.Zh., Associate Professor of the Department of "Pedagogy and Management of Education", k.ped.s. B.I.Imanbekova, as well as Acting Professor of the Department of "General and Applied Psychology", k.psych.s. N.S.Zhubanazarova. The event  was opened by one of the event’s organizers, poetess and journalist Aigul Aidarbekova, who welcomed the participants and the  students and wished them success.

During the creative meeting, important and engaging topics were discussed, such as the poetic craft, the poet’s creative process, theme selection in poetry, and the specifics of the poetry genre.  The participants sang songs, recited poems, and analyzed poets’ narratives. Mergul Asylkhanova’s  husband,  poet and singer Yeldos Amandos, dedicated a heartfelt song to the audience.  The students and the  guests actively took part  in discussions, asked  the poets various questions about the nuances of becoming a poet and freely conversed  as both poets and readers.

The event was organized by  the first-year PhD students specializing in “8D02304 – Literary Studies” Serikzhanova Marzhan, Abdeldayeva Aidana, Akgul Aidarbekova, Kalybekkyzy Samal, and Ziyadabek Nurasyl. At the end of the meeting, the poets wished the students creative success and expressed their gratitude. As a result of this inspiring event and open dialogue between poets and young readers,  the students gained valuable insights into creativity, writing mastery, and the artistic process.

The evening concluded with words of gratitude from the readers and organizers to Ainur Muratovna Balaubayeva, the head of  A. Chekhov Central City Library.

This evening was different from the previous ones. We believe that this event will contribute to students’ understanding of the system of spiritual values, as well as the formation of beauty and wisdom in a person’s character.
