Kazakh National University marked Family Day

As part of the Nauryznama Ten-Day Celebration, the "Parasat" Trade Union of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University employees marked Family Day in a special way, emphasizing the importance of family values.

The event, "Honorable KazNU Family", honored university staff couples and invited 18 married couples working at the university. Among them were Erzhan Kerimbayev, PhD, Head of the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and his wife Madina Shadaeva, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Far Eastern Studies and a specialist in the Japanese language.

Both are graduates of the same faculty and have dedicated their entire professional careers to the university. The couple has been married for 25 years and is currently raising six children, making them truly deserving of the title "Honorable KazNU Family".
